“I want to look stunning!”
That’s what Sidney told me, and it didn’t take too much work on my part to bring out her absolutely natural beauty! This lovely girl is so sweet, and is hoping to venture in the field of medicine in college. In her time at Southridge, she participated in track, National Honor Society, YoungLife, and freshman mentoring. During her high school years, Sidney said the biggest obstacle she overcame was learning to balance academic workloads with family, friends, and her boyfriend. “I really had to focus on going home to do homework and then put some time into track and into my other friends along with my family and boyfriend”, she explained, “It was really hard but I disciplined myself to get on a schedule that would allow all of that!” I know that success and motivation will guide her as she seeks to become an EMT or a P.A. after graduation. Sidney says the three words that describe her would be, “athletic, spontaneous, and caring”, and adds, “I absolutely love being with my friends, and my boyfriend too. Anytime I get to spend time with them, no matter what I’m doing, I am just the happiest person ever.” For her session, we found a cool spot with neat architecture and bricks, and some outdoor spots that showed off her bohemian and athletic style. She says she chose my photography because the models really stand out, and I agree…but not because of me, necessarily. Although I work hard to give you stunning images, it’s the SENIORS themselves who inspire me, and bring their personality, beauty, and joy to every single frame. My models stand out because they are beautiful, inside and out, before they even step in front of my lens…I just love bringing that out!
