Shelby heard that I was “fun to work with”, but really, she was the one that was amazing to work with! This sweet and funny Chiawana High School senior has a 3.2 G.P.A., and loves being in her local 4-H chapter. She made the switch from private to public school when she was a freshman, a change that she said stretched her, and made her more social. Her positivity is something she says has helped her overcome obstacles in her way, and she wants to be remembered as “being giving and kind” towards all her classmates. Shelby loves her math classes, and says she is extremely good with numbers. She hopes to take over her grandpa’s job as the Franklin County Coroner after graduation, an unique career that will be well-served by her innate positivity.
“I’d say I’d describe myself as kind, outgoing, and funny”, she explained to me, “I really love being with my friends, and when I have free time, I love eating food, binge watching Netflix, and laughing. My personal hero is my Aunt Sarah, because she has overcome many obstacles in her life, and still remains humble”. When we met to discuss her senior session, she shared that she wanted to look really unique and show off her bright and colorful style. Shelby had a carnival-styled shoot in mind, and we found a carousel to bring it to life. It was the perfect backdrop for her shocking-pink skirt and fun lace top.
Thanks, Shelby, for allowing me to be your senior photographer! You bring so much life and light to everything you do!
