With her gorgeous looks, stunning eyes, and strong 3.5 G.P.A., Riley is the picture of success. But for her, high school actually become the battleground for her biggest obstacle so far. Throughout her years of high school, she was actually the victim of bullying; in the halls, and even online. It could have broken her incredible spirit, but instead she rallied; putting forth kindness in the face of cruelty and focusing her on own personal success. She became a four year Varsity Cheerleader, and says, “To this day I still struggle with bullying, but there are haters everywhere you go in life. I had to remind myself that the only real reason people try to bring you down, is because you are already above them”. She also participates in Buddy Club and Key Club, hoping to influence younger students to display kindness and maturity instead of the bullying she experienced. “I want to be genuine, strong and kind”, she adds, “Loving others, no matter who they are or what they look like. I love people and I love helping them”. I was so deeply impressed by her spirit and tenacity for love and kindness after her own experience. It’s girls like her who will change the world!
For her senior session, she requested urban and glam, and we had a blast. In her royal blue romper and amazing accessories, it was perfect. She strutted those sidewalks like she owned them, and she was able to rock her favorite fashion piece: her heeled wedges! We also commemorated her accomplishments in cheerleading with some shots in her Hanford uniform, too. I am so proud to have met Riley, and was so grateful to have her on my street team this year!
