Kathryn | Southridge High School | Washington Senior Photographer

Sometimes when I photograph athletes, I’m nervous about if they’ll want to include their sports uniforms. They’re not always the most flattering cuts, or styles, but deep down, I want every senior to utilize them in their session! Why? They are part of your story. The represent struggle, practice, obstacles, training, and hours spent on the court, track, or field. They represent the fight. They represent YOU. Kathryn (also known as Kate), attends Southridge, and ROCKED her tennis uniform! She plays for the Southridge Suns, and is one of the sweetest girls ever. “I’m blunt, feisty, and edgy”, she explains, “I’m also the most honest person I know. Being upfront with people really simplifies things. Honesty truly is the best policy.

She is passionate about the deaf community, and is fluent in sign language. She hopes to apply these skills after graduation by becoming a certified sign language interpreter, and loves helping people; something she learned from her mom, who she calls her biggest role model. She’s so excited about these ventures that she is already enrolled in college. For her session, she wanted urban details like brick walls and modern architecture, and we found just the right locations for her. I love her raw emotion and laughter in these, because they truly capture what a fun and kind person she is.

I’d love for you to contact me today to book your own senior session! Even if your senior year is not starting yet, it’s never too early to book, as we fill up rapidly!
