One of the things I hear most often about my photography, and my street team, is how much fun we look like we’re having. I assure you, it’s not staged! We truly have a blast. I love meeting every single one of my seniors, and they truly infuse tons of light and fun into my life. This girl is a senior at Richland High School, where she balances a busy schedule filled with both varsity and competitive cheer. We made sure to capture her in her cheer uniform (complete with poms!), and she lit up every frame with her big smile! She says that her friends would probably describe her as outgoing, thoughtful and loyal, and says she also loves to listen to pop music like Meghan Trainor and Chris Brown. I was the photographer for one of her family’s friends, and she wanted the same experience.
One of my favorite parts of her sessions was her fabulous hair. Our hair and makeup artists are pretty amazing, but of course, her natural beauty shone through all on it’s own. Have you heard of the awesome thing called the DryBar? They have these little salons across the US where you can pop in for a quick hair refresh! Then, they came up with a line of awesome hair products to help you replicate this at home. I found this great tutorial for easy, beachy waves.
