Embroidery and Patches | Style and Fashion

For Maya’s first outfit, she wore the coolest bomber jacket with patches. It was the epitome of easy, laid-back style, and I wanted to talk about the embroidery and patches trend today!

First up, the embroidered denim jacket. We love this cool one from Madewell, but the price tag is pretty steep. So, we found this one that has embroidered roses for under $35 (way more budget friendly!). If you already have a plain denim vest or jacket, you can easily add patches on that can later be removed. We found a few cute packs of embroidered patches at Madewell and Forever 21 for under $10.

Secondly, the bomber jacket can be dressed up or down.. Maya is rocking it with distressed jeans and high tops, but you can also streamline things with a dark skinny jean and a plain tee. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can throw it over a body-con knit dress and add a heeled sandal to keep things casual and fun. Try this inexpensive pink bomber that’s super cute and looks more pricey that it is.

Lastly, check out this awesome option for plus-size fashion! We think it would look great with black jeans and simple stud earrings. Plus, it’s under $20, and has tons of fun patches all over it. When putting together statement pieces in an outfit, remember to keep the rest of your outfit simplified, in order to truly highlight the star of the show!
