The beach was calling Alma’s name and she couldn’t wait to get out to the sand and surf for her session! Her friend Sunny (see her session here) referred her to me when it was time for her portraits, and Alma said she loved the way her photos were more natural and not overly-edited. Alma is a senior at Richland High School, where she is focusing on her academics, though she has played Volleyball and Basketball in her previous years there. She describes herself as “outgoing, caring, and ambitious”, and adds, “The best personality trait I think I possess is that I’m outgoing. I just always try to meet new people, and that has given me many opportunities since I’m not afraid to put myself out there!” I loved meeting this spirited and cheerful senior, and loved her great attitude during her session. The beach and outdoor locations offered us some gorgeous light, and of course, I had this beautiful model! After graduation, Alma shared that she hopes to attend college in Arizona to major in business administration. When I asked who her hero was, she told me, “My dad is my inspiration. No matter how hard things have gotten, he always has been so strong and brave. I couldn’t imagine what anything would be like if I didn’t have him around to guide me in the right direction and showing me right from wrong”. She also told me that in twenty years, she hopes to be remembered for her smile! Alma, I loved our time together, and know your sweet spirit will take you to some amazing places in your bright future!
