Tonight I had my Senior Reps over to do something fun and different. For those who know me, I am a runner. I run all kinds of races and one in particular that I haven’t ran, is the Run or Dye 5k. It’s a race where they throw paint in the form of powder on you as you run. Of course, some others might know that this is a tradition in India. I researched and (I could be wrong, and if I am, I still like what I read on Wikipedia :)) in the spring, India holds a celebration of colors festival. It celebrates a new beginning. I love the symbolism that this tradition holds and instantly thought of high school SENIORS. The correlation of embarking into a new year, their SENIOR year. And like the tradition in India, it holds the same meaning for my 2014 Seniors – a NEW BEGINNING. I thought it would be cool to do this with my Senior Reps.
Let me just say, even though I didn’t participate (because I was the one taking the pics :)), the girls had so much fun!
I would be honored to capture your SENIOR YEAR! It’s the most amazing time of your life! And I want to capture that moment on camera! Let’s take beautiful pictures together!
